Church as a Mission is the vision that shapes the way we are doing Outreach at NPC. Mission relationships are fostered and led by members of the congregation. Every member is called to mission right where we are, sharing our passion and working with others as we use our gifts to serve others in their need. Want to know more?

What a joy it was as more than 100 NPC members, relatives, and friends gathered on Saturday, May 8, for
NPC Cares Day. Attendees went to work at Central Union Mission, Community Council for the Homeless,
Food and Friends, Habitat for Humanity, Martha's Table and the Unique Learning Center. Others assembled
care kits for those in need; wrote to elected officials about their concerns regarding hunger; or
cleaned up the area around Fletchers Boathouse.
Our Fall 2010 NPC Cares Day will be on October 30. Save the date! Until then, we encourage you to
learn more about ongoing opportunities to serve by checking monthly handouts at the Information Desk,
joining the NPC Urban Mission group page on facebook, or returning to this page. What a blessing it
is to show care to and learn from others, in his name and for his glory!
