The Flower Ministry at NPC
The flowers in the church every Sunday are given by members to glorify our Lord and to honor or remember loved ones. These arrangements beautify our church and enhance our worship.
A team of artistic and dedicated volunteers prepares and designs donated flowers for display in the Sanctuary and Court of Flags. Every Thursday morning flowers are received from the wholesaler and "conditioned" by team members. On Saturdays, volunteer floral designers, trained in NPC workshops, create arrangements for Sunday services. And on Monday, the designs are taken apart and the flowers re-used by Deacons and the In-touch Ministry.
A design demonstration and workshop is being planned for Saturday October 17,2009.
